Thankful for Loudoun BOS

Loudoun Board of Supervisors awards community block grants to local nonptofits

Thankful Thursday: INMED and the children and families who benefit from our Family & Youth Opportunity Center in Sterling are grateful for the recent grants awarded by the Board of Supervisors. INMED ranked among the highest of Loudoun’s nonprofits for providing services for youth and children with “critical needs.” The competitively awarded Community Development Block Grants help fund organizations and programs for low-income residents in Loudoun County, including 100 Women Strong, Mobile Hope and HealthWorks, among others.

The supervisors also allocated additional funding for capital projects for INMED, Loudoun Habitat for Humanity and the Loudoun County Home Improvement Program.
