Traffic Alert: Delays Expected in Ashburn and Lovettsville

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is alerting drivers in Ashburn and elsewhere in the county to road closures and potential traffic delays in the area this weekend.

• The Briar Woods High School Homecoming Parade will travel in Ashburn along Soave Drive, Olympia Drive and Regalwood Drive from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.
• On Saturday, an event in Lovettsville may cause delays for motorists in the area of East Broad Way, South Light Street, South Loudoun Street and East Pennsylvania Avenue from 8 a.m. until midnight.

Motorists are asked to please be patient, drive safely, follow all law-enforcement direction and have a safe weekend, according to an LCSO release.
