Wegmans Appears On '100 Best Companies to Work For' List
This is the fifteenth year that the market has appeared on the list. Wegmans has ranked among the top five for eight consecutive years.
Fortune Magazine announced last week that Wegmans has been ranked number four on the 15th annual “100 Best Companies to Work For” list.
Wegmans has appeared on the FORTUNE list for 15 consecutive years, every year since the list was first published in 1998, and has been ranked among the top five for eight consecutive years.
Today, there are stores are in six states, . There are approximately 42,000 employees and sales in 2011 reached $6.2 billion.

“The only way to be a great place to shop is to first be a great place to work,” says CEO Danny Wegman. “When I visit our stores I see how our employees care about each other and about our customers. Because of our people, we have been able to grow our business without compromising our values.”
