Woman Assaults Employee, Deputy At Leesburg Walmart: Police
A woman was arrested on Thursday morning after she assaulted an employee and a Loudoun deputy outside the Leesburg Walmart.

LEESBURG, VA — A woman assaulted a store employee and a deputy after they asked her to leave the Leesburg Walmart on Thursday morning, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.
The store employee reported minor injuries in the assault, authorities said.
The sheriff's office identified the woman as 55-year-old Christine Isakson. She was charged with one count of assault and one count of assault on a law enforcement officer. If convicted of both charges, she could face up to six years in prison, based on Virginia's sentencing guidelines.

Authorities took Isakson to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on Thursday morning. She is being held there as she awaits a bond review.
The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. on Thursday morning at the Walmart on Compass Creek Parkway in Leesburg. The store employee told authorities that he had asked Isakson to leave the store. Outside, she pushed a shopping cart into him, the sheriff's office said in a report.

After deputies spoke to the employee, they found Isakson nearby. Deputies said she refused to cooperate when they tried to place her under arrest. Isakson kicked one of the arresting deputies multiple times, according to the police report.
Isakson was eventually arrested and taken to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
