YouthFest 2017 Set to Take Place Saturday, June 17

Now in its twelfth year, Loudoun YouthFest draws thousands of attendees for a day of teen-centered concerts. On a day proclaimed as ‘LoCo Youth Day’ by the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors, local youth band winners of the countywide Battle of the Bands series will serve as opening acts for ‘Cruisr!,’ a nationally known headline band. The event is organized by Loudoun teens and presented by Loudoun Youth, Inc. and the Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services. In addition to the featured music, there will be food trucks, free giveaways, and activities for all ages including human bowling, a nerf shooting gallery, and a mechanical bull.

"Loudoun YouthFest is a one of a kind event here in Loudoun County,” said Jared Melvin, President and CEO of Loudoun Youth, Inc. “Where else can you see live performances by the top teen bands in our county, enjoy family friendly activities, and hear a nationally known headlining band? And all of this is organized by teens right here in Loudoun! We are so proud that our youth are stepping up and becoming leaders through their experiences with Loudoun Youth, Inc.”

DATE/TIME: Loudoun YouthFest will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 3-8 pm.

LOCATION: The Barn at One Loudoun. 20405 Savin Hill Dr., Ashburn, VA 20147. Parking is available in the One Loudoun Downtown parking lots and garage.
