• VMI preps for first-time opponent Idaho St. to kickoff 2026 season (wsls.com) — VMI is kicking off its 2026 football season on the road, traveling from Lexington to face Idaho State in Pocatello this Saturday evening. First-year head coach Ashley Ingram will debut his triple-option offense and may rotate two quarterbacks during a demanding early-season stretch heavy on away games.
