β’ Three fraternities sanctioned for hazing (ringtumphi.net) β Washington and Lee University in Lexington has sanctioned three fraternities for hazing, including coercing new members to consume alcohol and other substances and imposing humiliating activities. The sanctions range from social and disciplinary probation to mandatory educational workshops, and follow a separate five-year suspension of another fraternity in 2025. The university now must regularly publish hazing details and statistics under state and federal rules.
