The Workhouse Arts Center's ArtNotes concert series presents a solo piano performance of original works and interpretations by James Gahres. Gahres is a native Washingtonian who has been playing the local music scene and throughout Virginia for the past 35 years. Inspired by a mix of jazz, folk, rock & blues, he offers his unique style of instrumental piano which ranges from soulful ballads to driving rhythm & blues.
