workshop for students and parents is being offered as part of Fairfax County Public Schools annual College Night program. The workshop is offered only once during the evening on October 18, 2010 at the Hayfield Secondary School Media Center in Alexandria from 7:10 p.m. - 8:10 p.m.
The presentation will address issues such as:
- disclosing disability
- accessing support services on campus
- providing appropriate documentation
An overview of the array of postsecondary college campus options available for students with disabilities will be provided.
