STARS ON SUNDAY: THE UNITED STATES NAVY BAND’S “BRASS QUARTET”

The Workhouse is proud to present The United States Navy Band's "Brass Quartet" on November 14 at 2pm as part of the Stars on Sunday concert series!   The Brass Quartet is the Navy Band's newest chamber music group. The group performs at libraries, museums, colleges and high schools throughout the metropolitan Washington area. The quartet's repertoire includes works from the 16th through the 20th centuries, with many of the compositions arranged by its members. Directed by Chief Musician John P. Schroeder, trumpet, the quartet includes Chief Musician Stanley Curtis, trumpet; and Musicians 1st Class Philip J. Eberly, euphonium; and Anthony J. Halloin, tuba. Quartet members are often featured soloists on Navy Band concerts and recital programs, including performances as part of the band's "Music In the Schools" program.
