The girl had been riding her bike near Hoadly Road and Prince William Parkway before stopping due to fatigue and the inclement weather. A man in a red truck stopped and offered her a ride, according to the police report.

The girl accepted the offer, and the man loaded her bike into the bed of the truck. He then drove to a nearby parking lot and assaulted the victim, police said.

After the assault, the girl fled the truck and the man drove away with her bike still in the back. She took a photo of the suspect's vehicle.
