2020-21 Calendar Approved For Prince William County Schools

MANASSAS, VA — The Prince William County school board recently approved the division's academic calendar for the 2020-21 school year. According to the calendar, the first day of school for Prince William students will be Aug. 25, while the last scheduled day is June 11, 2021.

Another key date included in the calendar is winter break, which will start Dec. 21, 2020, and continue through Jan. 1, 2021. Schools will reopen on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021.

In August, parents and community members were asked to share their input regarding preferences for the 2020-21 school calendar via a survey. The approved calendar was preferred by the most respondents, according to the division.
