8-Year-Old Boy Killed on ATV in Nokesville: Police
Franklin Flores died Tuesday from injuries sustained in the Saturday crash, according to Prince William County Police. He had no helmet.
NOKESVILLE, VA — An 8-year-old boy died Tuesday from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle ATV crash Saturday in the 14900 block of Deepwood Lane, according to Prince William County Police.
Franklin Flores, of Nokesville, died at an area hosptial.
Shortly before 6 p.m., police responded to the scene and found that Flores lost control of the 2002 Kawasaki Prarie 650 and hit a tree. He wasn't wearing a helmet and didn't have a parent's permission to drive it.
