Meet Capital Funk, a hip-hop group grooving through the District (gwhatchet.com) ā A D.C.-based hip-hop troupe, Capital Funk, is headed to Manassas this fall to compete in the Prelude Dance Competition on November 7, bringing one of the region's biggest streetādance battles to town. The group, made up of GW students and local dancers, spends long nights rehearsing intricate choreography and bonding as a tightāknit community. Their Manassas performance will showcase DMV talent and draw crews and fans from across the area.
