The Boys & Girls Clubs for Dale City, Manassas and Dumfries have announced their 'Youth of the Month' for April.
Michael Williams, Autumn Moore, and Jada Jones have been named 'Youths of the Month' by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington for the Prince William/Manassas branches.
Michael is an 18-year-old member of the Hylton Club in Dale City. He attends Freedom High School. He became a club member during his junior year of school, and has been attending the club nearly every day since. At the club Michael participates in the SMART Leaders program, and is a regular volunteer at our concession stand, run by our Keystone teen leaders. Outside of the Club Michael enjoys video games and travelling.

Autumn is a 13-year-old member of our General Heiser Club in Dumfries. She attends Freedom High School. At the club she participates in the Teen Club, Keystone Leadership Program, Career Launch, and Goals for Graduation. Outside of the Club she enjoys designing rooms, fashion, and cooking.
Jada is an 8-year-old member of our Manassas Club; she is in second grade at Jennie Dean Elementary School. She regularly participates in our Power Hour Homework Help program, as well as a variety of other club activities. Jada works very hard to be a good citizen and student at school; she would like to be a teacher when she grows up. During her free time Jada enjoys cheerleading, basketball, singing, and dancing.

The Boys & Girls Club’s Youth of the Month program encourages good citizenship and civic responsibility. Adult mentoring and guidance reinforce the disciplines needed for a life of public service. Each month, staff select a Youth of the Month who demonstrates exemplary character and often serve as leaders to their peers.
