Another Fake Cop Arrested for Pulling Over Real Cop, Police Say
An 18-year-old is accused of turning blue lights on behind an off-duty Prince William County officer. Two similar arrests earlier this year.

A Manassas teen is accused of using blue lights in an attempt to pull over another motorist — but the victim happened to be an off-duty Prince William County Police officer.
There were two similar arrests earlier this year in the county.
At 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, the off-duty officer was driving in the area of Sudley Manor Drive and Bethlehem Road when he noticed a blue Pontiac G6 following him. The driver turned on flashing blue lights mounted to the interior of the vehicle, according to the officer.

Suspicious of the other vehicle, the officer refused to pull over. The other vehicle turned off the blue lights and sped away, but not before the officer relayed the tag number to on-duty police.
The car was stopped by police and the driver was arrested.

Joshua Robert Rosene, 18, of the 7800 block of Meadowgate Drive in Manassas, is charged with impersonating a police officer.
In February, a 23-year-old was arrested after accusations he was using strobe lights installed in the grill of his Impala to pull over drivers on Interstate 66.
in January, a 27-year-old was accused of attempting to pull over an off-duty police officer. In that case, the officer identified himself to the accused and the suspect fled.
