Armed Robbery In Manassas Leads To Charges For 17-Year-Old: Police
A 17-year-old boy was arrested in Manassas on Thursday morning after an armed robbery in the parking lot of a Days Inn hotel.

MANASSAS, VA — An armed robbery in a Manassas parking lot led to the arrest of two people on Thursday morning. The robbery occurred outside of the Days Inn hotel on New Market Court, police said.
No injuries were reported in the robbery, the Prince William County Police Department said.
Police officers arrested two people in connection with the robbery: a 17-year-old boy and 22-year-old Moses Childs. The police department has not publicly named the child in accordance with Virginia laws designed to protect the identities of minors.

The teen is charged with robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony. Childs is charged with robbery.
The 17-year-old is being held at the Prince William County Juvenile Detention Center. Childs was held at the Adult Detention Center; his bond was listed as unavailable.

The robbery occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, according to the police report. The victim, a 29-year-old man, told police that several people approached him in the Days Inn parking lot.
The 17-year-old boy held a gun and demanded the victim's property, police said. The victim refused, and the boy hit him with the gun, the police department said. Another suspect, later identified as Childs, pushed the victim down and robbed him.
The teenager left in a vehicle while Childs ran away, authorities said in a report.
