Arrest in Fatal Hit-and-Run in Nokesville

Suspect, of Gainesville, was arrested after vehicle was identified, according to Prince William County Police.

Prince WIlliam County Police have charged a suspect in the fatal hit-and-run wreck in Nokesville early Monday.

Allan Gordon Nock, 29, of the 15600 block of Vint Hill Road, Gainesville, is charged with hit & run resulting in injury or death. Nock was granted bond at $25,000.

The victim has been identified as Ross Damon Adams, 36, of no fixed address.

Adams was found at 2:49 a.m. Monday in the area of Vint Hill and Broadlands roads. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Working off of a tip regarding a possible suspect vehicle, police found a 2001 Oldsmobile Bravada at Nock’s home, 3 miles from the crash site. The vehicle showed signs of being in a crash and police determined that it was involved in the hit-and-run, according to spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok.

Nock was then identified as the suspect and charged.
