Arrest Made After Safe Stolen At Manassas Mall

Police believe the suspect stole a safe from a business before the Manassas Mall opened.

MANASSAS, VA—Police have identified a suspect in a weekend burglary where a safe went missing at the Manassas Mall.

Prince William County Police say someone took the safe from Wasabi Express around 8:18 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, before the restaurant usually opens. The business owner reported the burglary later that day, but it was unclear if anyone witnessed the incident.

A police investigation revealed Keavonte Lenzie Tryma Chenevert-Beck as the suspect. Police obtained warrants for the suspect, who is being held on a $20,000 secured bond. He is charged with burglary and grand larceny.
