Assault, Attempted Abduction Reported At Manassas Apartment Complex On Saturday: Police
Police in Manassas are looking for a suspect who grabbed a 20-year-old woman in a possible abduction attempt on Saturday night.

MANASSAS, VA — A man assaulted and attempted to abduct a 20-year-old woman in Manassas on Saturday night, police said. The suspect is still at large, according to a report from the Prince William County Police Department.
Officers responded to the Assembly Manassas Apartments around 9 p.m. on Saturday. A victim, who police only identified as a 20-year-old woman, said that a man grabbed her as she entered her apartment.
Authorities said the man confronted the victim before grabbing her in a "bear hug." The woman screamed and the man released her. He then ran away from the apartments, police said.

A police K-9 searched the area, but they did not find the suspect.
The victim told police that she originally saw the man in a tan sedan outside of the apartments.

The victim did not report any injuries, police said.
Authorities described the suspect as a man with medium complexion. He is about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 185 pounds. At the time of the assault, he was wearing a gray zip-up sweatshirt, a black balaclava mask, and black and gray sweatpants. He was also wearing glasses with gold-colored frames, police said.
