Attempted Abduction Of 3-Year-Old Reported At Manassas Mall: Cops
A woman grabbed a 3-year-old girl's arm in an attempt to abduct her from the Manassas Mall's food court on Monday, police said.

MANASSAS, VA — An abduction attempt was reported at the Manassas Mall on Monday evening, according to a report from the Prince William County Police Department.
Jesica Jaqueline Escobar Quest, a 44-year-old woman from Bristol, was arrested after police claimed she grabbed a 3-year-old girl.
The incident occured around 6:15 p.m. on Monday at the food court of the Manassas Mall, police said. The victim was sitting in the food court with her family when a woman approached them, according to the police report.

Police claimed that during the encounter, the woman grabbed the victim's arm and demanded that she come with her. The victim's family members intervened and grabbed the child, authorities said.
The family members then contacted mall security, who notified the police department. After an investigation, authorities identified Quest as the woman who grabbed the child.

Quest was arrested on Monday and charged with one count of attempted abduction. She was originally held on a $5,000 secured bond, and her court date is pending.
