Best tasting water in rural Virginia
Virginia Rural Water Association 2017 contest results

Each year, the Virginia Rural Water Association holds a contest as part of the organization's annual meeting. Jurors seek to determine the best-tasting water provided by the state's rural water companies.
Each water plant provides a one-quart sample in a nonreturnable Mason jar. Entries are evaluated based on taste, bouquet, smell, and clarity. The winner moves on to national competition at the Great American Water Taste Test that will take place in February in Washington, D.C.
This year's winner was Lee County PSA. Second-place honors went to Three Springs Water Plant in Rockingham County, and the Town of Luray, in Page County, finished in third place.
