More Than Just Food & Sports

Personal entertainment centers at every table, award winning food and extremely successful fundraising events have molded Glory Days Grill into something more than just your average sports bar.

Started  in a small store in Burke, Virginia 15 years ago,  Glory Days Grill has now expanded to 22 locations throughout Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.

Over the years, Glory Days has proven its committment to the community reaches way beyond the food and drinks.

Every year, each of the 22 locations sponsors at least 10 local sports teams. In addition, the restaurant's annual Golf Tournament has raised over $200,000 in the past 7 years for the Sunshine Foundation. And its 'Dining for Dollars' program allows for the average citizen to hold a fundraising event for an organization of their choice.

Still, it is the food and atmosphere at Glory Days that has led to the establishment's growing success over the years.

The American Grill-style menu offers a vast array of items that will satisfy any craving you may be experiencing. Even better? No entree is priced over $18 this includes big steaks, full rack of ribs and the signature Triple Play— a full plate of grilled or fried shrimp, half order of ribs and chicken tenders.

Over 25 different sandwiches, burgers and sliders are available and priced affordably at $6-$10.

Want french fries and breakfast in your sandwich, try the "Pittsburgher," a Corned Beef & Pastrami sandwich stuffed with fries, creamy coleslaw, melted swiss and topped with some "crowning glory", the fried egg.

But the most bang for  flavor and your buck is  the $5 appetizer special everyday after 9 pm. Home run hitters in this lineup include the Macho Nacho's, a heeping helping of chili and gooey cheese sauce over corn tortilla chips. The two most popular apps at Glory Days are: cheese fries & wings.

The Old Bay wings are the perfect combination of spice & crunch and the cheese fries topped with crisp chunks of bacon are so addicting you will fight for the last one.

There are plenty of other great items on the board but you will have to visit them at their Manassas location, 9516 Liberia Avenue. Be sure and ask James the Bartender about all of the current adult drink specials.

You can also visit their website and tell them your "Glory Story".

Write a brief summary of one of your "Glory Days" and win a giftcard or two.  Each month this year,  one winner will be selected to receive a $100 Glory Days gift card;  then at the end of the year,  there will be a vote cast on the Glory Days Facebook to crown the 2011 Glory Story Winner, which will recieve a $400 Glory Days giftcard, now that's alot of cheese fries!
