Cafe Rio Mexican Grill Opening this Week in Manassas

Bringing its award-winning food and service to the Manassas area, Cafe Rio Mexican Grill will open for business Wednesday with special giveaways for the public.

The mid-morning ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday will mark the beginning of customer appreciation week for the popular food chain.

For every meal ordered from July 13-15 you will receive a 'bounce-back' free meal card for July 16.

Present the card on July 16 and receive a free meal and complimentary drink. Then be sure to check your Sunday Washington Post Prince William Extra section for $1 coupons. The coupons are good for $1 burrito and salad meals on July 18-20.

Cafe Rio sets its standards high with its 'made-from-scratch' motto. The restaurant has made a name for itself by using only the freshest ingredients for every meal.

First, there are no freezers or microwaves inside the establishment; The restaurant's hand-made tortillas are prepared right in front of your eyes, guacamole is made fresh twice daily, the beef is only USDA Choice and the combined 41 locations nationwide squeeze 1,000 limes everyday to prepare special house dressings, sauces and secret recipes.

Their blend of Tex Mex & Rio Grande-style food recently earned Cafe Rio the title of #1 "Quick Service Restaurant" in the country by Sandelman and Associates' Quick-Track Award— beating out top food chains Chipotle, Chick-fil-A and In-Out Burger.

Started in Utah back in 1997, Cafe Rio Mexican Grill President, Bob Baker commented on the second restaurant to open on the east coast.
