Car Stolen from Battlefield Ford in Manassas, Police Obtain Warrants

Fauquier County Police took the suspect into custody after the stolen car was involved in an accident.

Manassas Police have obtained warrants for the arrest of a man accused of stealing a car.

Anthony Humbry Jr., 51 of Woodbridge, allegedly entered Battlefield Ford, 8980 Mathis Ave. in Manassas, between 7 p.m. Nov. 10 and 6 a.m. Nov. 11 through a window he broke. Humbry then reportedly stole a 2002 Ford Taurus, various tools, machines and tires, according to Manassas City Police.

After they issued a lookout for the car, police were contacted by Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office who said the vehicle had been involved in an accident in Fauquier County. Police took the driver, Humbry, into custody.

The Manassas City Police Department asks that anyone with information about the break-in at Battlefield Ford contact the Investigative Services Division at 703-257-8092 or through a confidential 24-hour tip line at 703-330-0330. The Manassas City Crime Solvers offer a cash reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
