City Reviews Regional Water Supply Plan
City calls special meeting for Thursday to discuss regional water plan, among other items.

The Manassas City Council will review a regional water supply plan Thursday night.
City Manager Larry Hughes already approved a $15,000 study for the Northern Virginia Regional Water Supply Plan.
The State Water Board mandates this plan because of the 1999 and 2002 droughts that devastated parts of the region. The purpose of the regulation is to establish a comprehensive water supply planning process for the region that has an estimated population of more than 2.2 million people.
