Decomposed Body Found In A Tent In Manassas: Police
Authorities have been unable to identify a decomposing body that officers found in a tent Manassas on Wednesday afternoon.

MANASSAS, VA — Authorities are still working to identify a decomposing body that police officers found in a tent in Manassas on Wednesday. Now, the Prince William County Police Department is asking anyone with more information to come forward.
Authorities believe the body belonged to a man in his 60s who may have had light-colored or strawberry blonde hair. No other identifying information was available on Monday.
The police department has not announced what caused the man's death, but officials said there is no threat to the community.

Around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, a Manassas resident called first responders after they found a body in a tent near Livingston Road and Wellington Road.
Authorities took the body, which was decomposing, to the medical examiner for an autopsy. The medical examiner will work to determine a cause of death.
