Delivery Driver Assaulted In Manassas Robbery Attempt: Police
A 22-year-old man told police that a man assaulted and attempted to rob him after he made a delivery on Orchid Court in Manassas.

MANASSAS, VA — A delivery driver was assaulted during a robbery attempt in Manassas on Monday evening, according to a report from the Prince William County Police Department. No property was reported missing, and the victim's injuries were not considered life-threatening.
The robbery attempt occurred around 7:15 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 17. The victim, who police identified as a 22-year-old man, had just made a delivery on Orchid Court in Manassas.
As the victim was sitting in his car, an unknown man approached him, according to the police report. During the encounter, the man demanded the victim's property. When the victim refused to comply, the man became violent and struck the victim multiple times, police said.

Eventually, the victim was able to escape at sought medical treatment at an area hospital, where police were contacted. The victim's injuries were not considered life-threatening, and none of his property was reported stolen.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man with a muscular build. He is about 6 feet tall, police said. He has short black hair, a goatee, and a mustache. At the time of the assault, he was wearing a dark colored jacket and pants.
