Dismembered Animal Used To Vandalize Battlefield High: Police

Four Battlefield High School students were arrested for vandalizing the school's stadium complex, in part with an animal carcass: PWCP.

HAYMARKET, VA—Four Battlefield High School students were arrested Monday for vandalizing the school's stadium complex the evening of May 28, according to Prince William County Police. An animal carcass was dismembered and scattered throughout the complex, and profanity and obscene images were spray painted on a playing field, track and bleachers.

Charged with destruction of property and conspiracy to commit a felony:

  • Jordan Ryan Pumphrey, 18, of the 6800 block of Jockey Club Lane in Haymarket.
  • Ramon Eduardo Romero Serpas, 18, of the 3400 block of Castle Hill Drive in Woodbridge.
  • Bryant Keith Schaible, 18, of the 15000 block of Largo Vista Drive in Haymarket.

Also, Jared Nicholas Yusko, 19, of the 14300 block of Broughton Place in Gainesville, was charged with conspiracy to commit a felony.

On the morning of May 29, police responded to the scene at 15000 Graduation Drive and verified the vandalism. The animal carcass appeared to be "roadkill." On Monday, authorities received an anonymous tip regarding the vandals. Arrest warrants were obtained for all four students, and they turned themselves in Monday night without incident.
