Driver Charged After Fatal Stunt With Mattress Atop Van in Haymarket: Police
Woman died after thrown from mattress in Friday incident, according to Prince William County Police.

HAYMARKET, VA — The driver of a van involved in the death last Friday of a female passenger riding atop the vehicle on a mattress was arrested Tuesday, according to Prince William County Police.
Norma Guadron Canales, 41, of the 1100 block of Friendship Way in Culpeper, was charged with reckless driving and driving without a license.
She turned herself in to police and was released on bond.

The victim was identified as Sidney Zelaya Gonzalez, 20, of Culpeper.
Shortly after 6:30 a.m. last Friday, police responded to an incident in the area of Bent Grass Drive and Waverly Farm Drive, where the van had been heading north on Waverly.

The woman fell off the van and was pronounced dead at the scene.
