Osbourn got the ball inside to Isaac Freeman as often as possible and he was able to get off to a hot start as he scored the first six points of the game for OHS.

The Eagles of OHS would not hold onto that lead for long. Liberty came out in the second quarter with some serious fire power and they got hot offensively and defensively.
Liberty seemed to score at will in the second quarter as they continuously ran a fast-break offense. Darren Lee led the way on offense and the Liberty defense pressured the Osbourn offense into committing more than a handful of turnovers.
After a very fast-paced second quarter, Liberty had battled back to take a 41-38 lead heading into half-time.
After a tight first half, Osbourn came out in the second half and completely took over the game.
OHS assistant coach Rodney Jordan said, "I thought the players came out nervous in the first half. It was our first home game of the season and the first time we've had our full team because of the success of the football team. They settled down at half-time and came out and played Osbourn basketball."
The Eagles just seemed to have much more energy and intensity in the second half. They showed exactly how dominant they can be on both sides of the ball.
After trailing by three at the half, Osbourn outscored Liberty 50-27 in the second half as they ran away with a 20-point victory.
Osbourn had four of their five starters score in double figures. Isaac Freeman, better known as "Izzy", led the way as he scored 23 points and also pulled down 18 rebounds. Izzy was a nuisance on defense as well as he used his 7ft. 1 inch frame to block shot after shot from Liberty.
The other offensive leaders for Osbourn were Jay Lane with 22 points, Cedric Delaney who had 16 points, and Corey Bedford who also tallied 16 points.
With last night's victory over Liberty, Osbourn remains unbeaten on the season, and the Eagles will look to continue that streak as they host Loudon Valley at 7:30 on Friday night.
