
A colorful array of pointed tail fins, chrome-trimmed sports cars, and wood-paneled wagons will be among the more than 150 antique cars displayed on the Manassas Museum lawn during the meet. Last year the unusual vehicles completely filled the museum lawn during the car show, which is sponsored by the Bull Run Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America and the museum. The museum is located at 9101 Prince William Street in Manassas. Model T Ford enthusiasts will assemble and disassemble a Model T from component parts during the meet. The Edgar Rohr Antique Car Meet is one of several events in Old Town Manassas on September 17. The Old Town Manassas Business Association is sponsoring a Sidewalk Sale at shops throughout Old Town, including Echoes, The Manassas Museum Store. The Harris Pavilion will host the annual Old World Festival from 11 a.m. till 5 p.m., and the regular Saturday Farmer’s Market will be across from the Historic Manassas Railway Depot. Historic Manassas, Inc. will host Bands, Brews, and BBQs Festival from 12 Noon to 7 p.m. This event will feature the best barbecue Old Town Manassas has to offer, with a variety of brews, live entertainment, and a number of specialty vendors. Bands, Brews, and Barbecue will occupy Main Street and Battle Street from the railroad tracks to Center Street, as well as the Center for the Arts/Mackey's Parking Lot.
