Join Jennie Dean Principal Dr. Robin Toogood, school PTA and 4-H Green Club members in celebrating the newly-constructed raised beds and tables now available for student and faculty use.
The area’s intended purpose is to be used as an outdoor classroom with opportunities for fresh air, hands-on learning, before and after school tending, and life skills building, according to Suzanne Westre Seaberg, 4H Green Club co-leader.
Lowes recently awarded the school a $5,000 “Toolbox for Education” grant to improve the school's garden area for educational purposes for years to come! The grant was made possible through a collaborative effort between the school's PTA, principal, 4-H Green Club and many others.
