Help NVFS and its SERVE campus take steps to help the homeless at the NVFS Community Walk in Manassas, part of the Fannie Mae Help the Homeless Walkathon program. On Saturday, September 24, we will meet at the Harris Pavilion in Old Town Manassas for a one mile walk to raise community awareness and funds to prevent homelessness in our region. Registration opens at 11:00 am and the walk begins at 12:30 pm. Registration fees are $20 for youth (age 25 and younger) and $30 for adults. Registration fees are tax–deductible and you will receive a t-shirt if you register at least one week in advance in at http://www.nvfs.org/manassaswalk . You can even make it an entire family day of fun! Before, during and after the walk, you can enjoy Manassas City's annual FREE Chili Cook-off & Kids’ Fest complete with great chili tasting, live music, a bounce house.
