Osbourn Park High School Senior to Receive Surprise On-Court Presentation from McDonald’s

WHAT: At the start of this evening’s basketball game, Destiny Sherin will be recognized on the court with a special surprise presentation by Lauren Kerns on behalf of the Van Valkenburg family of McDonald’s Owner/Operators and the local Prince William County McDonald’s in celebration of Destiny’s nomination to the 2011 McDonald’s All American High School Basketball Games.
Destiny is competing nationwide to fill one of 24 positions on the Team, and play for the honor of raising Game proceeds for Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) of Chicago and Northwest Indiana. The Girls Game will begin at 6:30 p.m. CT on March 30, 2011 at the famed United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The Boys Game will tip off at 9:00 p.m. on CT on March 30, 2011 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The final team roster will be announced on ESPNU on February 11.
