The public is invited to cheer on more than 200 injured veterans as they continue their six-day, 350-mile Ride 2 Recovery Memorial Challenge presented by UnitedHealthcare from Manassas to Virginia Beach.
Ride 2 Recovery, a 501(c)3, helps injured veterans improve their health and wellness through individual and group cycling. Cycling has proven to be a catalyst in the recovery process by providing a new physical challenge while concurrently helping to cope with the mental challenges. The Memorial Challenge ride began on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30 at Ft. Meyer, Va. and will end on Saturday, June 4 in Virginia Beach, Va.
