Fall Leaf Collection Starts Monday
Leaf collection for Manassas City residents begins Monday Oct. 10 and will last through the new year. See attached .pdf for full schedule and map for more details.
Residents can place leaves in biodegradable paper bags or trash bins at the curb to be picked up during a scheduled time on Mondays from Oct. 10 through Jan. 7.

Leaf Collection tips:
- Take leaves to the curb the day before crews are scheduled to collect leaves in your area.
- City crews will make only one pass on your street per date.
- Don’t rake out leaves after the City truck goes by – wait for next collection time.
- Leaves should be raked along the curbline, not in piles.
- Remove trash, sticks or rocks.
- Do not include grass clippings!
- Avoid areas where cars are parked.
- Don’t allow children to play in leaf piles at the curb
- For fast collection,use Monday yard waste pickup
- Put leaves in trash cans or biodegradable paper bags (available at local retailers) for pick up each Monday.
