Fall Leaf Collection Starts Monday

Residents can place leaves in biodegradable paper bags or trash bins at the curb to be picked up during a scheduled time on Mondays  from Oct. 10 through Jan. 7.

Leaf Collection tips:

• Take leaves to the curb the day before crews are scheduled to collect leaves in your area. 

• City crews will make only one pass on your street per date.

• Don’t rake out leaves after the City truck goes by – wait for next collection time.

• Leaves should be raked along the curbline, not in piles.

• Remove trash, sticks or rocks.

• Do not include grass clippings!

• Avoid areas where cars are parked.

• Don’t allow children to play in leaf piles at the curb
• For fast collection,use Monday yard waste pickup
• Put leaves in trash cans or biodegradable paper bags (available at local retailers) for pick up each Monday.
