Fatal Christmas Eve Crash: More Charges in Manassas
The driver of a vehicle who crashed Christmas Eve, killing a passenger, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter: PWCP

MANASSAS, VA — Additional charges have been filed against the driver of a vehicle involved in a Christmas Eve crash that left one man dead, according to Prince William County Police. Jess James Wyrick, 31, of the 9700 block of Henderson Street in Manassas Park, who previously had been charged with reckless driving, was arrested May 13 and charged with involuntary manslaughter, driving under the influence and driving on a revoked license.
Killed in the single-vehicle crash in the area of Token Valley Road near Gandall Court was Joshua Lee Roop, 27, of Manassas. Wyrick, who was released after the crash with a traffic summons, was arrested at the Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center, where he's being held on unrelated charges.
