Fox News To Host Michael Bloomberg Town Hall In Manassas

MANASSAS, VA — Fox News is hosting a town hall at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas on Monday with Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg. The town hall, co-hosted by Fox News political anchor Bret Baier and anchor Martha MacCallum, will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The event with Bloomberg, the former mayor of New York City, will come one day before Super Tuesday, when 14 states, including Virginia, will hold primaries and caucuses in the Democratic presidential race. The billionaire declined to compete in the first four nominating states in February and has been focusing on March 3, when a huge number of delegates will be up for grabs.

On Wednesday, Bloomberg participated in a town hall broadcast on CNN, his first televised town hall since he entered the race for the Democratic presidential nomination.

The Manassas town hall with Bloomberg will be Fox News' ninth town hall of the current election season. The network's town hall with presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in April 2019 holds the record for the highest-rated town hall event for any candidate during the current election cycle in total viewership, with nearly 2.6 million viewers.

On Thursday, Baier and MacCallum co-hosted presidential candidate Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) for her second town hall with the network in Raleigh, North Carolina. Fox News also hosted a town hall with former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigeg in Des Moines on Jan. 26.

The town hall will take place in the Gregory Family Theater at the Hylton Performing Arts Center, 10960 George Mason Circle, Manassas. People interested in attending the town hall must register for the event.

Doors to the theater at the Hylton Performing Arts Center will open at 4:30 pm and will close at 6 p.m., about 30 minutes prior to the show. The town hall will be televised live on Fox News from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
