The group also participates in the annual gift wrapping booth at the Manassas Mall during Christmas. In the past few years, the booth has earned the band around $10,000, according to OHS Band Boosters President Melinda Thacker.

The students who work the event get a percentage of the money to use for band trips, new marching shoes or polo shirts for the casual uniform as well.
