Grab-and-Go Kids Planner: Spring Break Edition

Fun things to do with the kids during their week off from school.

The kids will be out of school this week for Spring Break, so be sure to take
advantage of this time and find something fun to do this week as a family!

  • Check out the Amazing Animals presentation by the Wildlife Ambassadors at Central Community Library on April 20 at 3 p.m.
  • Be sure to visit the Easter Bunny and have your picture taken at Manassas Mall April 20-23 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Stop by the high school coffee house at Bull Run Regional Library on April 20 from 7-8:30 p.m.
  • Head over to the Central Community Library and pick up April’s monthly mind bender contest form and complete it with the whole family. This month’s topic is “Spring Crossword.” You could win a new book if you submit your correct answers! The contest ends on April 30.
  • The Manassas Farmer’s Market is back for the 2011 season! Check it out at Harris Pavilion on April 21 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and April 23 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Enjoy the music from the United States Marine Corps Band as they perform The Witching Hour at the Hylton Performing Arts Center on April 21 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Check out the unique art exhibit , earth 5, at Harris Pavilion in Old Town Manassas on April 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Stop by Bull Run Regional Library and enjoy a Diary of a Wimpy Kid Party on April 25 at 11 a.m.
  • Hop on over to House of Bounce so your kids can join in on an open bounce session during their time off from school. Check out the website for open bounce spring break hours and pricing.
  • Support the local middle and high school celebrities by attending a music or sporting event:
