Every year during the holiday season, glowing houses and decorated landscapes brighten up our neighborhoods. As a Muslim, this time of the year is very special to me. This is the period when I get to share with my friends that I am a Muslim and that is why I love Prophet Jesus (peace be on him). I also honor his mother Mary (peace be on her) as a pious and chaste lady. She is a role model for all Muslims. Most of the people don’t even know that the Holy Qur’an has a full chapter named after her.
Although you won’t find my house to be decorated or lit up, however I am here to share your happy moments. This is why our fellow members from the Masroor Mosque, Manassas go out in the neighborhoods every year with holiday gifts to spread the sweetness of love. Happy holidays everyone.
