Historic Aden Road Bridge to Reopen Wednesday in Nokesville

NOKESVILLE, VA — The historic Aden Road bridge has been restored and will open Wednesday for one-lane traffic, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

VDOT had originally planned to repair the truss bridge on the 134-year-old wrought-iron bridge and reopen it northbound use but found substantial structural deficiencies.
The detour on Marsteller Drive has been removed.
