On March 8, every year we celebrate International Women’s Day. For this Day, I want to share with you how Islam already told us that men and women are equal. The Qur’an says, “For men is a share of that which parents and near relations leave; and for women is a share of that which parents and near relations leave, whether it be little or much — a determined share” (4:8).
As a Muslim girl, education and school are highly important in my life and it makes me love school. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be on him) said, “It is the duty of every Muslim man and every Muslim woman to acquire knowledge." I like it because I make new friends, I get to use computers, and most of all, because I learn new things and have fun! School teaches us to be social. People make new friends all the time but most of our friends are at school. When we have activities which need a partner, we always have someone in mind. I love school mostly because we learn and have fun!
