Internet Safety For Families Wednesday in Manassas: Police

Among the topics, according to Prince William County Police: "sexting," and other social media issues. It's at Sudley Elementary School.

MANASSAS, VA — Here are two questions for parents, as posed by Prince William County Police:

  • Do you worry about how to keep your younger children safe as they use computers, tablets and smart phones for school and entertainment?
  • Are you concerned that your middle school and high school students might get into trouble with social media accounts or "sexting" issues?

If so, you might want to hit Sudley Elementary School, 9744 Copeland Drive, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday for the department's presentation on Internet safety.

Pizza and drinks will be sold, and daycare will be provided. The presentation is recommended for families of children of all ages but especially for kids entering middle school and high school.
