They join 21 others arrested by the task force, which was formed to combat drug use and addiction among young people in the region. Operation Growing Pains, which began in February, involved detectives from the police departments of Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park.
The suspects arrested this week include a 16-year-old from Gainesville, who was charged with conspiracy to distribute a Schedule IV narcotic. Her name was not released because she’s a juvenile.

More on Patch:
The task force arrested two suspects on Monday: Logan Michael Pack, 18, of 8228 Roxborough Loop in Gainesville, charged with distribution of a Schedule I or II narcotic; and Luke William Stowe, 20, of 1410 Deerfield Lane in Woodbridge, charged with felony distribution of marijuana.
On Tuesday, the task force arrested Zachary Grey Magerkorth, 19, of 9603 Ramsey Court in Manassas, charging him with distribution of marijuana.
On Wednesday, it arrested Stanley Anthony Robertson, 34, of 15288 Lodge Terrace Court in Woodbridge, charging him with distribution of a Schedule I or II narcotic.
The murder in November of a 16-year-old student at Woodbridge High School prompted local authorities to launch the operation, according to WTTG-TV Channel 5.
The task force also seized narcotics used by young people in the region, including marijuana, marijuana “wax,” mushrooms and prescription medications, according to media reports. It executed search warrants at four locations - in Manassas, Woodbridge, Gainesville and Bristow.
The goal of the operation is to deter drug use among teens and young adults, Prince William police said. When an arrest was made, those who sought help for drug use or addiction issues were provided with the necessary resources.
