Man Punches, Chokes Woman In Manassas: Police ICYMI

MANASSAS, VA — A man is being held without bond after punching and then choking a female acquaintance early Thursday morning in the 7800 block of Leland Road, according to Prince William County Police. Hugo Enrique Ardon, Jr., 20, of the 7800 block of Leland Road, was charged with strangulation and domestic assault and battery.

Shortly before 2:30 a.m., police responded to the scene to investigate a reported assault. The woman, 21, of Manassas, told police she and Ardon were involved in an argument that turned violent. She said he punched her and choked her. Minor injuries were reported. Ardon left the residence before police arrived but was found later in the morning.
