MANASSAS, VA—A man wanted for threatening a woman and her family with violence via text messages late last month was arrested Monday in Chicago by a U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, according to Prince William County Police. Marvin Alexander Portillo Trejo, 30, of the 400 block of North Kenwood Avenue in Baltimore, was charged with two counts of threats to harm over an electronic device.
On Oct. 29 around 4:15 a.m., police went to a home in Manassas for a reported threat. The woman, 23, said she had received several threatening text messages from Trejo, an acquaintance. The messages "suggested an act of violence against the victim and her family."
