Manassas Area Resident's Vehicle Stolen At Gunpoint: Police

Prince William County police are searching for a man who stole a 2020 Honda Pilot at gunpoint Monday morning in the Manassas area.

MANASSAS, VA โ€” Prince William County police are searching for a man who stole a vehicle at gunpoint Monday morning in the Manassas area.

At around 11:50 a.m. Monday, police officers went to a residence in the 7300 block of Rokeby Drive in the Manassas area to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 33-year-old man, reported to police that he was cleaning his 2020 Honda Pilot when he was approached by an unknown man.

During the encounter, the man brandished a firearm before demanding the vehicle keys. The suspect took the victimโ€™s vehicle and fled the area at a high rate of speed. No injuries were reported.

Officers located the vehicle unoccupied on Lariat Lane. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspect who was not located.

The suspect in the armed robbery is described as a Black male, between 25-35 years of age, about 6-feet, 2-inches, with short hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a white puffy winter jacket and black sweatpants.
