A Manassas man wanted for stalking a woman and violating a protective order was arrested Wednesday night, police say.

BRISTOW, VA—A Manassas man wanted for stalking a woman and violating a protective order she had in place against him was arrested Wednesday night outside a hotel in Strasburg, according to Prince William County Police. He was found in the parking lot by the Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office.

Steven Edward Pace, 43, of the 12000 block of Sorrel River Way, was charged with six counts of violation of an emergency protective order, one count of burglary, one count of stalking and one count of giving false identity to a law enforcement officer. He's being held without bond.

Around 1 p.m. Monday, police went to the home of the woman, 40, for a reported burglary. They said that Pace had entered the residence without permission. Officers said Pace had repeatedly violated an active protective order obtained by the woman when he allegedly visited the residence numerous times, leaving dead and live flowers.
