Manassas Shooting Injures 1 On Thursday Night: Police
One person was injured after a group of people opened fire on a vehicle driving near Taney Road and Hood Road in Manassas on Thursday.
MANASSAS, VA — Shots rang out in Manassas on Thursday night, according to the Manassas City Police Department.
One person was injured in the shooting, authorities said. The police department said their injuries were not life-threatening.
Police have not publicly identified any suspects yet.

The shooting occurred around 11:55 p.m. on Thursday near of Taney Road and Hood Road. The victim said they were driving when they passed a group of men who started to shoot at the vehicle.
"The Manassas City Police Department is utilizing all available resources to thoroughly investigate this incident," the police department said in a news release. "Residents in the area of Taney Road and Hood Road are encouraged to check any video cameras or recording devices around this time."
